As one of the lions of Ethio Jazz, Moges Habte was a saxophonist in Ethiopia's legendary Walias Band. Moges Habte was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where he learned to play the saxophone in Haile Selasie 1st day School (Kebena). He also studies at Yared Music School and further honed his musical skills in night clubs in Addis Ababa - all the while taking correspondence courses from Berklee School of Music. He furthered his musical educational upon arriving to Washington D.C., where he regularly performed with the Ethio Jazz Group
