One of the most positive voices in hip hop – Mozambican-born Mohammed Yahya – has spent the last year and a half collaborating with the very talented Sarina Leah as part of an exciting project they call “Native Sun”. And we're happy to announce that after a lengthy gestation, this dynamic duo  has given birth to “Indigenous Soundwaves".

We’ve had the distinct pleasure to break bread with Mohammed, and we can tell you…he’s definitely a good brother. And if you’re so inclined, you should definitely check out his latest opus – which is a carefully crafted 10-track album in which rap and song seamlessly and beautifully meld together to provide you with a listening experience deserving of your time and investment (keeping it real disclosure: we have no financial incentive to promote this project).

“Indigenous Soundwaves” also features collaborations with UK rapper Akala, spoken word poet Amen Noir as well as a combination of UK and internationally based producers.

Discover their new album on iTunes.  In the meantime, “Paz e Amor” (“Peace and Love”)….as Mohammed would say.
