South African House - Zakes Bantwini's "Wasting My Time"

I recently had a conversation with someone who was looking to discover more about South African house music.  For the unintiated and die-hard fans, alike, you don't have to look much further than Zakes Bantwini and DJ Black Coffee, "Wasting My Time".  Not only is this pulsating track overflowing with soul, these kids in the video have dance moves for days - reminding us that good music transcends time and space. And unlike the traditional house track, where lyrics are subordinated to the beats....both take center stage in what is truly one of the best house tracks of all time.

The only thing I don't understand is why everyone in the video is sitting in their seats.  Someone please explain?!?!?!

Take this track back to Newark, NJ's Club Zanzibar circa 1989, and the crowd would have raised the roof.  The lack of boogeying notwithstanding, "Wasting My Time" is definitely one to keep in permanent rotation.  Enjoy!
